How does the verification process work?
We verify every member through a multi-step process including ID checks, insurance verification, and business license confirmation to ensure only the most reliable tradespeople apply to join our network.
Is the marketplace insured?
As part of our standard verification process, every professional on The Trading Link is asked whether they hold valid public and professional liability insurance. You can view each member’s profile to see their insurance status and any available details. If a tradesperson does not hold insurance, you’ll know this before agreeing to work with them so you can make an informed decision. We review insurance documents where provided, but you must also be satisfied that any cover is current and valid.
Can I post a job or apply to join as a trade?
Both hirers and tradespeople can register. Hires can post detailed job requirements, while tradespeople can create professional profiles to showcase their skills and experience.
How do I know if a trade is genuine?
Every profile is marked with a 'Verified' badge and includes a direct link to their professional license and insurance details, making it easy to verify before hiring.
